In de-energized condition of the solenoid, pressure applied at inlet port #1, a part of media, drawn through the pilot passage to Duse hole which is blocked under Plunger. At the same time Media act below the piston assembly which is support to spring to keep piston assembly upwards. In this state inlet port # 1, outlet port # 2 and outlet port # 4 are disconnected. Outlet port # 2 & exhaust port 3 are connected. Outlet port # 4 & exhaust port # 5 are connected, thus media cannot come out from any outlet port
